i went to regsci earlier. i met with my high school classmates, there's mean, jaja, lane, yen (with her orgcom blockmate pau), ysa, vero, onang, deva, ros, dennest and ryan. haay, i havent seen them for a long time. what can i say? well, cute pa rin sila. ^_^
we went to school to visit our former teachers sina ma'am reolizo, sir temps, sir balo, ma'am cecille, ma'am natalie, tita mel, among others. jaja and i, we also got to talk to ma'am villaflor about renan kanina. she promised to speak to renan about his problems as soon as possible. mami vi, is really one cool teacher, that's for sure.
while were in mami vi's room earlier we were telling stories, cute classmates, conio classmates, how difficult org chem and accounting is, blah, blah... lovelife, hehe. tas si jaja... she stood beside mami vi in front and proudly announced "oi, lam nio si Pi, may bofriend na..." all of a sudden, i am center of attention. "si rafael, taga upd. mabait, cute,.." shit, i didnt know what to say. for a second i was stoned sitting where i was, i was staring at jaja. and then she winked at me as if to say, "pi, sakyan mo ang joke, please...". i smiled sheepishly while they all looked at me with questioning eyes. lane finally posed the one question i deem everyone had in mind, "pi, totoo? nde nga?" "uhm, punta ako sa manila tomorrow, nood kami movue, gusto nio sumama?" hehe, ^_^ i think i heard yen and momo say, "aahh, okei.." in condescending note while the rest were still looking at me in doubt. "si jaja nga, may paolo 'eh..", i quipped and so they all turned to jaja naman. hehe.
while on the way to cafeteria, lane asked me again if i really have a boyfriend. i was about to tell her the truth, that rafael is just a friend. we went out once and i just can't see him on a romantic frame. but i didnt tell her that, instead i asked her why they all seem to have misgivings about believing jaja. it is as though it is scientifically improbable and mathematically impossible for me to snag a guy.. "pi, nde sa ganun. iba ka kasi" iba? what do you mean? "basta, iba ka. hirap iexplain.." fine. im not asking you anymore. cge, iba na.
"..cute ka naman 'eh, Pi. hindi ka lang talaga girlfriend material..." did you read that? my friend niko once told me the reason why i still don't have a boyfriend is because i am not girlfriend material. alam mo niko, if being girlfriend material means having someone like you for a boyfriend i think i'd rather be god thankful i am not, hmmph. dyowk lang, hehe. sorry na niko, baby. hehe. kidding. i love you niko! ^_^

i attended vero's party earlier. its her eighteenth birthday and while most people expect debuts to be lavish and extravagant she opted for something simple party with only family members and a few friends invited.
for some unknown reason, none of my highschool friends have thrown a lavish party orat least anything to that effect. i know some of us who can afford to have any place in subic reserved, most of us settled for trouble -free get-togethers. hehe, korni kame. sige na, we can deal with the badgering. we're just being practical po. we're not affluent people. we acknowledge the value of money and we are not willing to throw a fortune in exchange of a night of faux happines.
i have attended parties of other friends, parties done in hotels and really noteworthy places. i have dragged myself to wear gown. high heels and smudge my face with make up. i have lasted nights of being prim and proper, minding etiquette and manners. i have had my share of long nights accompanied by wine and music to put it succintly. and you know what i think, i think it was not worth it. ^_^
why spend bucks for n-star hotels, designer gowns and special cuisines when you can have things unfussy and still reach the same level of fun and happiness? ay oo ngapala, mayaman sila. sorry, i forgot. honestly i dont understand how these people manage to have the fortitude to spend money on senseless things albeit knowing somewhere out there someone has ran out of his means to live. okei, im a bit exaggerating here but you get the drift.
talaga, pointless ang mga parties na yan. at oo, galit ako sa mayaman..^_^
