1. The
Guardian Force Junction Window.
Here is where you
see the AP, which stands for Ability Points. This is just like the AP in FFVII,
but it's for the Guardian Forces, not for Materia. Increased AP improves your
GF's power, level, and also adds new abilities. Higher GF levels will also
increase the equipped character's status and attributes.
2.
Guardian Force Menu
Here is where you
can switch between whether you want to add or remove Guardian Forces from the
Junction. Like the Materia menu in FFVII, here is also where you can see the
added abilities of the GFs. You can also organize them in order of strength,
or whatever you prefer.
3. The
Help Window
Oh, boy... um... ahh...
this is gonna take some explaining. It's a help window, it helps you with
stuff. Well, more specifically, it just tells you about whatever your pointing
at. It's been featured in all Final Fantasy games, so if you've ever played
any them, there's really nothing to explain.
4.
Character Portrait
Easy to explain,
it's the characters face.
5.
Character Experience Box
This box shows the
current experience, as well as the experience needed to reach the next level
for the selected character
6.
Guardians in Junction
Currently shown with
Ifrit and Leviathan, this is where Guardian Forces are equipped. Like the
Espers in FFIII, only one of each GF exist, so you may not have two characters
with a Leviathan or Ifrit at a time.
7.
Guardian Forces Inventory
This is a list of
every Guardian Force you have collected. This list includes GFs carried by
everyone, not just the selected character.
8.
Guardian Force Experience
The experience
earned by the Guardian Force is displayed here. As mentioned before, higher XP
means stronger GFs with more abilities. Notice the two red lines in the
window. The short one displays the GF's current level. When the two red lines
match, the GB has maxed out its level and is as strong as it will ever be.
9.
Character Equip Effect Status
This shows what your
selected character's current status is. This includes the both negative and
positive effects added from armor, weapons, or GFs. For example: If your
starting HP was 175, and a certain piece of armor adds another 25 points, but
a GF has a status effect of -25% HP, the displayed HP here would be 150 points
