I heard a muskrat sneeze last week. He lives in a stream beside a little grassy knoll next to our local health food store. Quite a piece of real estate he's got too; scenic and cozy, but right in the heart of town, with easy access to shopping.
The stork flew by today. It's a girl! And another girl! They are black cayugas. They'll look like this when they grow up, and if we can't make a love connection for Lola with this pair, well, then at least he can take turns chasing FOUR girls now instead of just poor Daisy. And maybe then she'll stop giving me the feather.
