[17/01/2003] - purple whirlwind - Wah! Eve! Why can't I access your blog? *whines* ... is it because I'm trying to access it when you are trying to upload/change it *looks suspicious*. Oh well, I'll try again later.
Saw ep05 of the StS Hades OAV, and over here, we have the appearance of ... *drum rolls* Virgo no Shaka! Hehehe ... a character not always appreciated by all, but one of my favorite goldies (oh alright, I confess, as well as half of the goldies), admirably self-centered at times (if my memory serves me right), but, can you hold a grudge against the guy?
My grandma seems to feel slightly better today *crosses fingers*, she gave me a big scare for most of the week, so I'm prayings she'll continue to get better *hugs grandma*
Argh! I wanna see the rest of HikaGo and HxH! I wanna know about more about Hikaru after Sai disappears (snif), and especially, I want to know *more* about Greed Island!
*looks at today's newspaper* A machine which produces water from thin air? *blinks* Wonder how the water will taste like? (in case anyone is wondering, there *is* a difference in tap water taste depending on which country you're collecting it from. seriously)
[15/01/2003] - distant echo - Whoa. Just finished two watching "Princess Mononoke" and "Spirited Away" by Miyazaki, and I must confess, he's really as great as they say he is ^.^ I especially liked "Spirited Away", maybe because the story's has less angst and more happy feelings maybe? I'm a sucker for WAFF stories in general ^.^
Eve your current layout is so cute! Although we don't see the cuties from HxH any longer, the picture is very kawaii looking. It's from Chobits is it not?
Argh. I still can't get over learning about the existence of RK Seisouhen's OVAs. I refuse to watch them even if I had the opportunity too. Kenshin does *not* end up like that! *shakes head in denial*. Kenshin and Kaoru must have a happy ending because ... because ... dang it, they deserve to be happy after all they've gone through. Plus, even the author himself said he wanted a happy ending for them. So there.
[11/01/2003] - deep slumber - One day I promise I'll finally get a hand at this darn html thing (meaning I'll actually *try* and learn and apply). That way, instead of having a big fat picture come out, it'll be split into little pictures (does anybody get what I'm saying? ^^:;). Much more useufl if I have to switch back to a 56kps modem >.< In any case, I'm glad I finally found some time to update my blog and write something on it (as well as change the design) ^.^ Guess blogging's not gonna be a regular occurrence for me after all ^^:; This time, featuring some of the cool guys from Hikaru no Go. You know, I *still* can't get over the fact that Sai's gone. I mean, Hikaru without Sai?? Noooooo ..... it can't be! <sobs> sure, there are still lots of cool guys like Hikaru, Touya, Waya or Isumi but ... but ... who's going to whine and cry like Sai used to do all the time?? <whines> Alright, so maybe I might have a, err, slight resemblance to Sai *grins* I'm so glad I was able to see ep01 of the I'll OVA. The anime is really well drawn, though I still prefer the manga of course. It's a pity they used flashbacks instead of introducing the story progressively like in the manga. I guess it's coz they had to squeeze everything in a few episodes. Still a good anime though, but hey, I'm biased, anything I'll is good ^.^ Hmmm ... *wonders if she could get hold of the DVDs somehow* ... it's such a beautiful friendship story ^.^ *yawns* guess that's all for today, I'm too bushed (or lazy for that matter) to write any more today *gr

She speaks English, French and Mandarin (but can't read it to her great despair), and has a passion for Japanese animation and mangas. Despite speculations, she is neither senile nor does she bite. [manga] story Hikaru no Go is about Hikaru, a young boy, who, while searching in his grandfather's attic one day comes into contact with the 1000yr old ghost, Sai. A Go lover, Sai's spirit cannot rest in peace because he has not yet reached the "Hand of God" or the ultimate Go move. Happily, now that he is back in this mortal realm, Hikaru should be able to let him accomplish his will, by permitting him to play. Problem is, Hikaru doesn't want to play Go, which is, in his opinion, a game for old geezers ;p
Thinks Great story, great characters, great development! HnG really pulls you into the world of Go, while explaining you little by little the rules, the different aspects of professional Go and igniting your Go passion! *grins*
