S*O*N*G*S
After hours of shifting through episode guides and song lyrics, we finally figured out the episodes that each song belongs to and who sang them. We have compiled a list of 17 songs in which the newsies had the lead or, in some cases, sang it with other people but it was just too funny to pass up (Mark David's Barney impression and "Sex Education" would be examples...) If we ever get done with all this Roundhouse stuff, maybe I'll post up the other songs in which they sang backup or whatnot- however, that's almost ALL the songs!
"Back Where We Belong" Dominic Lucero
"Jump in the Fire" Dominic Lucero, Ivan Dudynsky, Mark David, David Sidoni
"Flop Sweat" Dominic Lucero
"Sex Education" Ivan Dudynsky, David Sidoni, Dominic Lucero & others
"TV Head" Dominic Lucero
"I'm the Bully" David Sidoni
"Be a Rebel" Dominic Lucero, Ivan Dudynsky, David Sidoni
"Higher" Mark David
"Stage Mother" David Sidoni
"Work it on Out" Mark David
"My Room's a Disaster Area" Ivan Dudynsky, Mark David, David Sidoni
"The Sappy Song (Mark David's Barney Impression)" Mark David, Ivan Dudynsky & others
"Detention Hall Blues" Mark David, Ivan Dudynsky, David Sidoni, Natalie Nucci
"Toe Jam" Mark David
"On Vacation" Ivan Dudynsky, Mark David, David Sidoni
"Defender of the Universe" Mark David
"Break These Chains and Set Me Free" Mark David
Some important notes: Shawn Daywalt is a girl. (Shawn is sometimes a boy name.) Also, the episodes are categorized as follows:
The season number, followed by the episode number. Therefore, the first episode of the first season is 101. The eleventh episode of the fourth season is 411. Get it?
*We also wrote down the morals of the episodes so you're not wondering why Dominic Lucero was singing about sweat.*
