Stockholm-Sweden
Mandy and I first met in March 2000 in the Swedish capital,Stockholm. We stayed at the Prince Philip Hotel in the Skarholmen district of the city. On our first day together we wandered around the Old Town (Gamla Stan). The weather was bitterly cold, so we had to keep stopping off for hot coffee.

On our final morning of our visit it started to snow heavily, so we decided to catch a Taxi back to the train station, Unfortunatley our Taxi was involved in a traffic accident, thankfully no one was injured.
The following day  we took a visit to the Aquaria water museum, it is'ent  very big but it is interesting and has a lovely setting on the waterfront. We then went to see an exhibition of the pop group “Abba” and rounded the day with a lovely meal at a Mongolese restaurant.

This was my first visit to Sweden and Stockholm is packed with things to see, but I went in March and the wind was very cold, and the streets were icy underfoot, its not the best  time of year to walk around the city.
