WE ARE THE ROBOTS
Interviewer: Do you feel lonely when working?
Ralf Hutter: It is beautiful to be lonely. Silence is important because
humans are permanently threatened by waste of music. That is why we demand
days of silence. Sometimes we walk around with pincers to cut the loudspeaker
cables. If we stop the permanent molesting of music, we get the chance
to listen to genuine sounds. How do tools sound, doors, clocks, cars,
bikes...
Ralf Hutter of Kraftwerk

from Mr Hutter....
Q:
Didn't you almost die on a bicycle?
A: No. It was just a very normal fall and a couple days in the hospital.
It was nothing to worry about.
Q: Nothing to worry about? You were in a coma.
A: That's how it goes. I just forgot my helmet.
Greta
(the Bass Goddess), plays bass for Moby This is from her site, about a
gig in Ireland with U2.
Now for the best, most ROCK moment of my life. Ready? So I sez to Bono,
I sez:
ME:" Thanks so much for having us, it was really an honor to play with
you guys."
BONO:"Well, you , yourself, put on a wonderful show."
ME:"Thank you very much. What a great audience you guys have! And Ireland
won, that certainly didn't hurt!"
BONO (ever gracious): "Well, you really had them. Towards the end I was
backstage warming up so I couldn't SEE the audience, but I could FEEL
their energy, and I got chills, you know, gooseflesh!"
ME (astounded): "Wow! You mean that still happens to you? That happens
to me, too!"
BONO (in all seriousness): "Well, isn't that what it's all about?"
OH MY GOD, COULD YOU JUST DIE!!!! How ROCK is that! NOW I CAN DIE HAPPY.

"Technology simply allows more people to create bad music."
Rob Garza, Thievery Corporation.
People have been sending angry emails to fuzzywuzzy.com (Lunas website)
complaining about how we put 4 bonus tracks on the vinyl version of our
live album. Some people demand that we put the bonus tracks on our website
for free download. Maybe they should buy a record player instead. Vinyl
sounds way better than MP3s do.
Dean Wareham from Luna, highlights old vs new technology problems.
