Max is now at "Rainbow Bridge;" he died from cancer about the same time Maxie was adopted into our lives; she was named Maxie in honor of our good friend, Max. (We REALLY miss you, Max!)
Cricket is too precious. She loves to bring her rug to you...you can't touch it, mind you, but she'll bring it to you! Cricket lives with her mom and dad, Carol and Jerry, in Florida in the winter, and in Metro Detroit in the summer.
Here are two of our other Golden Retriever friends, Bailey and Libbea. Bailey (on the right, relaxing) is a proud member of Pet Partners, and visits nursing homes with her mom, Jeannie. When Bailey retires, after a long fruitful career, Libbea (on the left) will take the helm! Bailey has also taught boating safety to thousands of children through the Coast Guard Auxiliary's boating safety classes.
"The Unsinkable Molly Brown" is a boating maniac! She loves going boating with her mom and dad, Kristin & Mark. She ALWAYS wears her life jacket...she's a SMART dog!
Kayla & Kody are Lady & Maxie's first cyber-friends! Aren't they just gorgeous? Of course, ALL cockers are gorgeous....not that we're partial or anything! (They gave Lady & Maxie an AWARD!!)
Bud is the BIGGEST dog we've ever known! He's an English Mastiff, and he tips the scales at about 150 pounds!! (Maybe as much as 200 pounds....but, have YOU ever tried to weigh a 200-pound dog????) He's HUGE! But cool....he's a big teddy bear. Providing he likes you...if he doesn't, he'll be sure to let you know!
Here's Bailey again; this time in her Christmas garb; she was posing for her annual Christmas Card Photo as "Coast Guard Dog Bailey." Before her career in Pet Partners, she was one of the teachers in the Coast Guard Auxiliary's Water 'N Kids Program, with her mom, Jeannie. (She is still teaching classes, in preparation for retirement.)
Here's Coast Guard Station Saginaw River's new pooch, Charity. Charity loves romping and swimming with her good buddy, the "Unsinkable Molly Brown" Simoni!
Here's Coast Guard Station Tawas' old pooch, Sparky! Sparky is one cool pup. He knows more tricks than any dog I know. In 1995, I took him to Michigan State University's small animal clinic for emergency heart surgery. I paid for 1/3 of the surgery myself...if he hadn't had the surgery, he would've died within a few months.
Here are Winston and Ruby....two cool California pups!!
