Places...
Montana is our home state.  The land is beautiful, and the people are relaxed and friendly.  This slow-paced atmosphere allows us time to appreciate the important things in life like family and nature.   This page is all about the fun we've had living close to our relatives and friends, and appreciating the beauty of our state.

To the left is a picture taken in the Lewis and Clark caverns near Whitehall, Montana.   It is easy to let your imagination run wild in these caves.  When we first visited them, I was very little, and I kept looking for faes and goblins that I just knew were hiding in the rock formations.  When I returned to the caves as an adult, I was fascinated by the dark recesses in the walls and floors that opened into unexplored caves and lakes.  If there are any magical places left on earth, this is definitely  one of them.

Even though Montana is the most beautiful place in the world, Canada is pretty close to matching our scenery.  The pictures that are featured at this site were taken in the Banff (hope I spelled that right!) National Forest just north of Glacier National Park.  It is a very rugged, mountainous area with sparkling green water and mist everywhere.  We visited these mountains in the spring when the rivers were running high and fast.  We weren't quite brave enough to stick a foot in, though.  Something told us that we might have gotten frost bite.

Pets...
Ever had a pet that you just bonded with right away?  Beauty is a tiny little tabby cat that I've had since 1987, and she is the kind of pet that loves you forever, no matter what.  Click here to see Beauty and her beasts...
The next link has pictures of some of the pets we've had in the past.  The pictures cover two decades, so some of these are our childhood pets, others are ones that we had as adults.  But all are cute and fiesty!  Click here to see the menagerie...
Meeeow!
This guy may look sweet and innocent, but he's actually a trained attack cat.  I know because I once locked him out of the house.  Out of spite, he tried to trip me twice.  When that didn't work, he lunged at me, wrapped his claws around my leg, and held on while I dragged him about ten feet.  Later that day, when he was back in the house, he decided that he hadn't quite gotten even with me, and proceeded to barf in my shoe.  After that, he was all cuddles and loves again.  Isn't he cute!   Click here to see more pictures and stories of DC.
Horses...
Our new babies!
Our pride and joy( right), we brought Breeze home on September 4, 1999 and we've been proud parents ever since.  (Left) A little bit of sunshine for the year 2000, Bucky is a sugar baby--sweet and loves attention (and his mother's name is Sugar). Thanks to Terry and Joyce, we now have our own horses to care for and love!

Toby is the sweetest horse we've ever met.  He is very curious, and has to touch everyone with his lips.  He doesn't bite; he just kisses you constantly.  What a sweetie!

Danny (pictured to the right with her mother) is still a baby in this picture.  She is getting very big now, and has a black and white, wavy mane that makes her look wild when the wind catches it, and a fiesty personality to boot.

To the left is a picture of Billy when she was a fiesty three-day-old. Billy was born in April and she loves to jump and buck in every direction, whether or not her mother is in the way.  She will just bounce off her mother, and keep going.

And don't forget, Joe (pictured to the left) was born in May and might just be the smartest horse ever.
