Take time to read these rules for how you should conduct yourself.
Pheyland Keep is set in medieval times and only characters of these times will be recognized for role-play. This means if your character is of a modern time, they are not a part of the role-play of the room in any way or form.
Our rules have been written to make visits to the room enjoyable for all who are here. Please show consideration to others. Read over the rules carefully, as you will be held accountable for them. Ignorance of a rule will not change the enforcement of it.
Any and all FINAL say of the following rules is left in the hands of the King and Queen. All should take notice of the room's/home's chain of power and those on it have a say in the judgment of these rules in the King's and Queen's absence. The King and Queen can overrule judgments by any, as they are the room owners of Pheyland Keep but rest assured they value those that serve them's opinions and decisions highly.

2. This is a medieval theme and role-play room and it will remain such.
-Try to remain in theme, and take NON-theme conversations to PM asking permission first openly.
-All weapons and role-play will be kept within the medieval theme. So you shall find not Disc.s or Guns
here.
-Try to use old English in your posts and only refer to things within the time period of medieval or
earlier.
-This is a theme role-play room, and if you enter the room, we do expect you to role-play and not just
watch unless you have ~o~ in your name. Do not come in with OOC in your tags, this is a role-play
room and come to role-play. Come in character and PM what is OOC (out of character). Exceptions to
this are room leaders.
-You are allowed only THREE OOC posts before you are to take it into PM. This is so no disruption of
r/p takes place. Names with OOC within them will be asked to leave or booted as per room rules.
-Again, take a name that is appropriate to the medieval theme of the room whether you are observing
or not.
3. What to do if new.
-Make an effort to try to fit into the room and ask questions. We were all new once and the members in
the room will help you get started. You need to ask for their help and let them know.
-Read our website for more information.
-Ask the Members of Keep for permission to PM them, ask your questions in PM, so as to not disturb
the entire room.
-Keep your questions respectful.
-Respond when spoken to. Do not ignore greetings. Even though you are new, keep in mind being
respectful to others.
-Remember this is a role-play room. Real life has no place here. Leave it at the door please.
4. Being a guest of Pheyland Keep does not give you the right to make unkind or rude remarks about how the room is ran or how characters act. If you feel strongly about something, write the Kingdom e-mail to express your opinion.
Your comments will be considered disruptive and treated as such and do not belong in the room, post a letter that is directed to the room leaders and/or owners, so it can be handled properly. (See rule 6)
5. If you are requested to leave Pheyland Keep for whatever reason by King Thomas, Queen Catherine, or a room Member, YOU WILL GO and without argument! Post the Kingdom e-mail if you feel you must discuss it. The room is not the place to talk about it. Failure to do so will result in a site Moderator being summoned.
6. Do not disrupt the room or the role-play with your behavior. It will not be tolerated. If you choose to be disruptive, and if asked by ANY member of Pheyland Keep to leave, you will leave immediately. Do not argue or cause further disruption to the room.
A member will assuredly contact a moderator of Alter Realms if the disruptive character does not leave immediately. The member will relate to the moderator, the name of the character, explain the character was disruptive, was asked to leave and refused. A member or guest of the room may script the action and save it to pass along to the room leaders via e-mail.
7. No nude avatars. Keep your avatar tasteful and not offensive. If you need to ask if it is offensive, you already know it. Keep private body parts private.
8. Keep intimate encounters in PM. Any public posts of acts with explicit sexual content are prohibited. Know when its time to take it PM. Welcome flirting is one thing, but open sexual overtures and such is another matter. NO means NO in affairs of flirting and deeper sexual content. Please respect the persons wishes.
There are some that find any type of flirting uncomfortable and are not in the room for that purpose but to r/p and enjoy themselves. Again, respect their wishes.
If your sole purpose is to engage in cyber, there are plenty of other rooms that promote such and even welcome it.
Its not prohibited in Pheyland Keep, just do not readily expect it when you visit or let it be the sole purpose of your visit please.
9.If You have been declared dead in Pheyland Keep or banned from entering, you are not welcome here. We will only ban someone who has been a serious problem in the past or what we deem as other plausible reasons. It is our coice to ban someone and need not supply a reason if we see fit. It is after all, our room.
If you or someone else have been banned or declared dead and wish to question it or discuss it, do so in writing to the Kingdom e-mail. It will NOT be discussed in the room.
