Survivor Pick'em games. I finally won my first crown as ultimate survivor in "A Fun Survivor Game" hosted by Peter Brady (player in SOTN II). Since that time I have yet to reach the top, but then again since 2003 I really haven't been an active player in any reality games thanks to my college obligations. I finally did graduate from Black Hills State University Spearfish, SD in May of 2004 with a degree in Business Administration. It was for the most part an uphill battle, but I'm glad to have done it. Now if only I could find a job that will pay for all my new bills I will be okay. When I'm offline I'm working at the Super 8 as a front desk manager as well as hiking in the beautiful Black Hills.

Continuing the tradition of the Survivor on the Net Series is Dave from SOTN IX. He is hosting our tenth edition: Survivor on the Net X: New Zealand's Stewart Island Adventure! He is only a beginner when it comes to playing and hosting, but has a determination and zeal for starting and hosting his own game that is second to none. Not to mention the fact he did some very valuable "secretary" type work for SOTN before being chosen as host of SOTN X :-). Expect a very challenging, yet entertaining game full of online adventures!

"Well hello everyone in online world! Let me properly introduce myself
as David. (Call me Dave or Brat I don’t mind either one, and my own
mother calls me the later name.) I really enjoyed my time on SOTN that I
thought I should give hosting a try. For I seem to contain a lot of useless
survivor facts and information that would put some survivor gamers
through loops. I live here in Pennsylvania and recently turned 21! I hope
everyone, both players and watchers will enjoy the game I have created.
For it was fun to make. "

of Survivor on the Net. He has taken the leading role as host of SOTN IX: The Argentina Challenge. Stephanie (runner-up in SOTN VII) will assist him.

"I began my online gaming with both Online Mole Challenge 2, and
Survivor on the Net 8.  Both started at nearly the same time, and ended
within the two weeks of each other.  I made the finals of both games,
winning OMC 2 and coming in second to Linda in SOTN 8 by a vote of
4-3.  Outside of the online world, I enjoy all types of literature, including
both classical and new. I'm also a fan of most types of mathematics and
sciences.  I hope to be attending MIT in the fall, but I've also applied to
Duke University in my home state.  I hope to bring dedication, new ideas,
and a new sense of online gaming to SOTN."

"My name is Joseph and I am the infamous host of Virtual Murder in Small Town X (the only successful completed MISTX game in eGame Central's entire first year and the
second year to date)! I've also hosted Surviving Big Brother's The Amazing Mole Race which was the only successful game of it kind! In addition to that game I've also hosted Survivor on the Net IV: The Amazon Challenge and my little known secret game, Big Brother Revenge, which was my first game and completely done in Yahoo! Clubs! Before eGame Central's abrupt ending I was the newest member of the staff in charge of the Host Spotlight. I'm now also the self-proclaimed King of Twists as a host! I want everybody to have fun, and don't play fair because controversy is the best thing in online reality games!!! Good Luck to everyone!"

UPDATE: Joseph came back to Survivor on the Net and created quite a stir at times with his columns he sent in called, "Joe Knows SOTN." They evaluated the goings on at SOTN 7 and 8. With Joseph it's all or nothing, and his columns were no different. Joseph more recently has decided to make a comeback to create a sequal to Surviving Big Brother's The Amazing Mole Race! The game will this time be known as "SBBTAMR 2: Dog Eats Fear Factor in Small Town X." This new spin off promises to be even more exciting and larger than life then the original.... AND it was! Seriously though, I've been playing these online reality games for about two years now and love it.  My favorite games to play are Survivor based ones.  Although I've come close to winning several, it hasn't happened yet, :(.  However, I've won a Big Brother game played in an AOL chat room.  Sixty days and I soooo rocked in that game, lol.  Zero nominations and four HOH wins.  I've been teaching myself how to use HTML and have advanced beyond basic college level web programing.  Currently, I'm teaching myself how to use flash and other plug-ins.  When my face is not glued to the computer, I like to go to the beach, movies, the mall, and the park with friends.  If I had my way, I'd be here 24-7, lol.  Technology has consummed me a great deal and I find myself speaking like I type, lol.  I am also a Survivor junkie.  Nothing will get in the way of me and watching Survivor.  I've pulled out the phone jack, locked the doors, and put my shoes inside so that no one interupts me.  I will be graduating from high school this year which means I'll have to pay bills and taxes, uggg.  Look out world, you aren't ready for me."

Dean
Peter and Dean met for the first time in SOTN 7, and have had a very difficult time getting rid of each other since then. They teamed up to play C&A Amazing Race, which they competed well in. They decided to team up again and host a Survivor on the Net game after noting their almost "brotherliness" and ability to work well together. Both also have large and varied experiences both as hosts
and players of online games. They look foward to the challenge of hosting a cast of 20 Survivors in a SOTN series together and have plans of making Survivor on the Net 11 a game to remember!

Peter Louis Gabriel Baltera is a 15-year-old from Middletown, NY. Peter currently attends Middletown High School as a sophmore in the top 10% of his class. Peter spends his spare time reading, writing, listening to and playing music, playing online games, watching (reality) television, and spending time with friends (both online and in real life). He aspires to one day work in the biology, biochemistry, or medical field. Peter is an experienced online gamer who has played in games
such as Survivor on the Net 7: The Cyprus Challenge (6th place),
Greenland Survivors 1 & 2 (7th place both times), Survive Easter Island
(12th place), and Mole on the Net 1 (winner). Peter has also hosted
games such as Socorro Island Survivor and The Indian Adventure.

Dean Iredell is a 21-year-old college student from La Jolla, California.
He is entering his last year at San Diego State University and is majoring
in business economics. After graduation, he hopes to become a stock-
broker and have a job on Wall Street. He also wants to learn how to fly, and he wants a pony, since both of those are about as plausible. He enjoys sports, music, writing poetry and songs, playing guitar, and reality television. Dean has played in Survivor on the Net 7: The Cyprus Challenge (5th place), The Indian Adventure (2nd place), Survive Easter Island (4th place), Surviving Big Brother's the Amazing Mole Race 2 (8th place) and Mole on the Net (2nd place.) He is currently hosting Survivor Ascención and has plans for a second season in the works.

Peter also hosted these divisions of SOTN Games:

Dean hosted:
Travis L. dove head-first into the shallow end of the pool of Online Reality Gaming as the host of Online Mole Challenge.  Luckily, however, even without the use of performance-enhancing drugs, the game was even named as “Online Reality Games’ Best Mole Game.”  Afterward, he joined up with an actual, human co-host (Mini Mole) to pull off Online Mole Challenge 2 - a much more elaborate affair with brutal twists and an actual, in-game bon-a-fide plot connecting all of the challenges,
and nabbed several Top 20 spots on the now defunct E-Game Central.
During this, he also played in his first online Survivor game,
Sound Wave Survivor, in which he was brutally back-stabbed
(we’re talking Rupert back-stabbed) halfway through.  A kinder and
gentler Survivor experience followed for Travis in
Survivor on the Net IX, in which he managed to do slightly better
than he had done previously.  After that, he suffered the curse of the
crappy 3rd game and hosted an ORG which failed miserably -- but
really, the point is that after a year of reflection and much planning, Travis is ready to once again pick up the baby of online reality games and dangle it over the proverbial balcony as your host for
Survivor on the Net XII: Northern Lights.

In his spare time, Travis enjoys muckraking as well as regular raking.

Hi, my name is Lucus, and I am an on-line reality game addict. My loving wife of 7 years, Tamera, and my three kids have had to learn to deal with my problem. I have tried twelve steps to stop but I may have rushed through them (thought it was a speed based challenge). Seriously,
my exposure to on-line gaming was not a smooth start; I played in
three different mole games (all of which were cancelled) before
finding a good game. I finished 5th in that one and then 9th out of 12
in a different one (both mole). Since then, as you all know, I've taken
2nd in SOTN 9, 1st in SOTN 12, and 33rd in SOTN 13 (that last line
really should be censored).

I began hosting games with two straight up mole games, developing a small legion of players who would follow me to any new game I tried. After finishing my last mole game as a player, I decided to try survivor, but I still was quite fond of the mole, and amazing race was growing on me, thus was born the concept of combining the mole, amazing race, and survivor (SurviveTheAmazingMoleRace). That's where I met
Nichole, she played in that game (didn't fare too well if I remember correctly). We followed that with our 1-2 finish in SOTN 9 , then she preceded to finish in the final two of my next hosting gig (Survivor- Auckland Islands). After taking the time to again finish 1-2 in SOTN 12, I went back to hosting a point-based elimination competition (Survivor Olympics). Nichole finished in the top four of that as well.

Between the time she spent playing in those games with me, Nichole has managed to finish in the top 6 in SOTN 13, and be the head mistress at a Harry Potter role playing site. Include her fascination with other on-line games, both reality and video game styles, she has very little time left for real life. But somehow she finds time to love her boyfriend, Frank, hang out with her mom (who is a trip), go to college, and work.
