UNIVERSAL RULES OF THE GAME

Members must be over the age of 15 and must take an active role socially!

Relatives of the same family are not allowed to play in the same game together. We will, however, allow one family member to play, while the other is put on reserve for the next game. There are many problems that can arise from family members playing together.

People using the same computer are not allowed to play at the same time. We will however allow one member to play, while the other is put on reserve for the next game.

Members must have a Yahoo account to access Yahoo Clubs/Groups. It is highly recommended that you have Yahoo Messenger as well.

Members must refrain from using profanity in chat rooms and message boards.

While there are two tribes (before the merger) a tribe member must refrain from contacting the opposing tribe members.

Members must refrain from contacting other members after they are kicked out.

The host can at any time stop play, or kick any member out.

The host has the final say.

HOW TO PLAY THE GAME

Feel free to email or talk to the host about what is going on in the game. All conversations will be held in the strictest confidences and the "story" of the game will not be revealed until an ultimate survivor is chosen. This will lead to an interesting web site in the end and there will be answers to people's questions about what happened during the game.

The game usually works in three day intervals...
The first day we'll have the *Reward Challenge.
The second day we'll have the Immunity Challenge.
The third day we'll have the Tribal Council.

*-on certain days there will be no RC.

JET POINTS

The Host will give certain, JET POINTS to the tribes each time they contribute to the game, such as pictures, behind the scene stories, or emails describing their strategy. Hint: These points might help later on in the game! These points will not only be counted as tribal, but individual as well, so the points will continue after the merge. To gain JET POINTS be sure to add the hosts email addresses to ALL of your emails in the CC: address bar.

If you have a conversation with another member of your tribe and want to send it in, it's not a matter of who sends it in. You may BOTH send in the same conversation to us and STILL gain the points for you and your tribe. ALSO, not only are you gaining jet points for your tribe everytime you send in an email, but you are also gaining important jet points for yourself as a singular member! If you are good enough to continue emailing jet points consistenly then you might be able to make our SOTN Hall of Fame category for most points scored in a game!

IMMUNITY CHALLENGES

Challenges will take place at various times of the day throughout the game. The challenge might require an immediate response (speed) or else it will be timed (non-speed) to end at a certain time, so it's up to you if you want to show up at the given time or not. Challenges will therefore be classified as SPEED or NON SPEED on the main webpage, thru email or the clubsite/groupsite.

REWARD CHALLENGES

Reward challenges usually take place the first day of the three series. They will be announced at no particular time during the day or night. They may not always be given within the stated time interval.

TRIBAL COUNCILS

All tribal councils will be held the day after the Immunity challenge. E-mail your votes and reasons why you voted the way you did to the host or hostess. If you're late for tribal council then a vote will be placed against you. In case of a tie in voting we will first have a second round of voting, then if it's still not decided we will look at past votes. If that doesn't decide it then we will have a sudden death time-sensative challenge.

NetSpider Monkey, any of four species of small New World monkeys characterized by their long, slender limbs and great agility. Spider monkeys have been spotted between southern Brazil, central Mexico and on occasion have been seen on the net. They travel in small bands in forest trees, moving swiftly by making tremendous leaps, sprawling out like spiders, and grasping tree limbs with their prehensile tails. The fur is yellowish-gray to brown, with lighter undersides; the face has white eye rings and is shaded by projecting hair that is either light or dark in color. The animals mainly eat fruits supplemented with nuts, seeds, leaves, insects, and eggs, but when they sense deraliction or unpopularity, they're liable to strike at people!

CAPTIVE CARE - HOUSING
Since they swing, move hand over hand while hanging, leap, and move bipedally and quadrupedally,
they require a large cage that will accommodate all of this behavior. You can provide horizontal poles
which permit swinging and branciating, lots of space between climbing structures to promote
leaping, and platforms of varying widths to make space for walking upright and on all fours.
Lengthy websites seem to calm them for they have lots of room to play and hide.

CAPTIVE CARE - DIET
As with all monkeys, netspiders need a varied and healthy diet. A breakdown of their diet structure is: 80% commercial monkey biscuit, 10% fresh fruit and vegetables, 5% browsing foods (leaves, plants and stems, seeds, nuts, grains), and 5% insects. A delicasy to them is being able to snuff out humans. Warning: When playing Survivor on the Net don't let the NetSpider Monkey tag you or else your game is over!
