Hello to everyone I haven't talked to in a while and I hope you are all doing well. This page is a basic update on how I am doing. For those that don't know me I am a 33 year old mother of 3 teenagers. I work as a forklift driver at Sam'sClub at night, 10 pm to 6 am an hour's drive away. The income is not great. I was considering breeding in a couple years, but have since decided against it. There are just too many unwanted dogs out there, and the care of my 4 dogs alone is overwhelming. So, starting February 1st I will be opening a diecast car shop at a local flea market that is well established and been in busines over 25 years. They have an average of 20,000 people go through on a weekend so it should go well.
As far as personal updates, I have some bad news for everyone. Many of you know Lady was a rescue. Her mother is pure poodle and father half poodle making her 3/4 poodle. Lady was pregnant by a purebred poodle when I got her. I kept two of the puppies, Princess and Duchess who are 7/8 poodle. Lady had been spaded a while back. I was awaiting the first season to spay Princess and Duchess. They are a year old and Duchess has not yet went into season. The vet said to give it some more time. I wanted to spay them together.
Unfortunately, that is not a good thing to do with a male in the house. On Princess's second season Tommy somehow got through the gate and mated with her. They were already tied by the time I got to them. She gave birth to 4 puppies on November 30th.
I sold the white male and still have a black male, black female, and brown male I am trying to sell for $300. It is not easy. They are 15/16 poodle and 1/16 something else I am not sure of. I have an appointment to get both Princess and Duchess spayed at the end of February. I know it was irresponsible to let Princess get pregnant, so I don't need any judgements please.

I firmly belive that everything happens for a reason. With all of the issues I am having selling these puppies for just $300 I suppose it made me see that the market for puppies is just not that open. So at the cost of bringing 4 puppies into the world, many other puppies will not be created. These puppies are getting very good care, fed only Wellness core and Merrick Puppy plate, have seen the vet regularly, and get played with daily.The parents have been DNA tested and have no known bad genes.. I had all 4 dogs tested a while back. And most important, I will not be breeding any more puppies.
As far as everything else in my life, well I am a single adult with 3 teenagers and 4 dogs, it is hectic as is expected. The economy is bad, and I am struggling, but hopefully I will get by and it will get better. In the meantime I will only browse the toy poodle forum about once a week until I get my internet again.
