An Important Announcement

Well. the unthinkable happened. FASA is closing up shop permanenetly, which is going to make it VERY hard to continue the "Shard on $20 a month" project. But it will continue! My original intent was to spend $20 a month, and play around with that stuff, and try to figure out what I needed next. Now, of course, I am madly scrambling trying to purchase everything I think (hope?) I wil need to finish this project NOW, because it's already getting REALLY hard to find Shard figs, especially Concussors and Jagged. So, although I do have a lot of my future stuff still purchased, I will still be organizzing, painting, and playing it in $20 blocks just to show how it could have been done if our figure supply hadn't suddenly disappeared. So I hopeyou'll all bear with me. I REALLY wanted to this project the way it had been intended, I I apoligize to all of you, my loyal readership. And by the way, it does truly suck that FASA is closing. I bought my first Traveller supplement from them back in 1981, "Ley Sector." I bought Battletech in 1987. I bought Shadowrun, 1st edition when it came out. I've been buying Ral Partha figs as long as I can remember. And despite my best efforts, they went away too. I mean, I never bought enough stuff from the likes of GDW, ICE, or Grenadier to say that I tried. But I really tried with FASA. So I guess thats the end of that.
