OK so FASA closed and my supply of Shard figures disappeared. I managed to get everything I needed anyway (special thanks to Matt in San Diego who came through with the last two packs of Concussors!) And then I shifted gears and disappeared into the land of 15mm fantasy wargaming for a while. So my last installment was March of 2001, and now it's October of the same year. I painted up my April 2001 installment but only ever fought one battle with it (and which, I might add, I lost horribly!) The advantage for me wih having all of the models ahead of time is that I can do some mixing and matchig. Someone somewhere out in cyberspacce suggested swapping the arms between an Eradicator and an AMP suit. Thank you for the idea. The two conversions turnd out very nice (and required a half pound of putty each to blend the joins.) But now I hope to squeeze in a Vor game or two a month, and maybe it won't be "$20 a month" because I'm only gaming every other month. But you still get to see how it breaks down into $20 a month (so we'll keep the name.) You still get to see a dead shooty Shard force for $100. And maybe, if you're good, I'll show some of the other Shard stuff I got that isn't part of this project. Like how I am going to build Rishkith as my Axion....
