July 10, 2002: It has happened! Quantum Leap is revived! If you've already been to the main page, you already know everything there is to know right now about this wonderful news. If you haven't, then what are you waiting for? Click here.
April 14, 2002: School has been keeping me rather busy. Sorry about not updating very often. Anyway, on to the news! You've probably already seen the major news that is plastered all over the main page (hehehe). But if you haven't, we're very close to having a Quantum Leap movie made! You can see more about it by going HERE. Dean Stockwell will be guest-starring on "Enterprise" in two weeks. To find out more, go to THIS PAGE. "O.R.C.A.: Dangerous Mission" was apparently a mistake, as it no longer appears anywhere in the IMDB database. However, Dean was in Florida in March filming for a another movie featuring Daniel Baldwin entitled "Dead By Friday". Scott Baio will also be in the film, marking the second time Dean has worked with him (the first being "Face to Face"). If I can think of anything else, I'll be sure to put it up here.
January 29, 2002: Well, there's been quite a bit going on since the last update. There's a lot to say. We've had our ups and downs since January 4... I've compiled a complete account of all that has been going on since the rumors about a Quantum Leap movie first appeared. Here's where you can read it all: Scott did not win the People's Choice Award he was nominated for. Better luck next time! (heck, he'll probably get an Emmy nomination next year if everything keeps going the way it has... hehehe) A new movie has been added to Dean's IMDB page. "O.R.C.A.: Dangerous Mission" is the title of the movie. There are no summaries available right now, so I don't know what it's about. However, it looks like Dean is working yet again with Daniel Baldwin (third time).
January 4, 2002: The best news ever has happened since the last update to this site.... There's a very big possibility that there is a Quantum Leap movie currently in preproduction! To find out more, visit this page. "Enterprise" is doing well in the ratings, and Scott Bakula has been nominated for a People's Choice Award for Best Actor in a New Series. Good luck, Scott! Dean Stockwell attended the Reno Film Festival in November of 2001. I was lucky enough to meet him there. He was really nice and down-to-earth. He introduced his newest movie, "Face to Face". It was a wonderful movie, and it will hopefully be distributed to the general public for viewing in the near future.
May 12, 2001: Well, Paramount has told us now! Scott Bakula is officially Captain Jonathan (not Jackson) Archer of the USS Enterprise!
April 8, 2001: According to trektoday.com, Scott has signed on as Captain Archer. According to Ain't That Cool News, Scott is no longer being considered for the role. Who's right? Only Paramount can tell us that one.
March 23/24, 2001: There have been some positive developments for the Revival Initiative. I will be posting more detailed info later this weekend.
March 19, 2001: An article on trektoday.com covers rumors that Scott Bakula might be taking on the role of Captain Jackson Archer, the lead character in the fifth Star Trek series. Read the article.
February 8, 2001: Several Revival members--who had written to Mr. Bellisario--received a response from Mr. Bellisario's assistant. Read it here: Now that we know that there is nothing else that Mr. Bellisario can do to help revive Quantum Leap, it is up to us fans to do this for Mr. Bellisario, fans around the world, and, especially, for our beloved Sam Beckett. |
