I'm have been a Law Enforcement Dispatcher since 1971 and decided to create these pages out of respect not only for fellow Dispatchers but also because of the respect I have for those people who each day risk their lives to help and protect us. This page is dedicated to my Co-workers and Friends on the Internet that have chosen Law Enforcement and other public services as their profession. Most are honest, hard working, dedicated, and caring people just wanting to do what they can to make this a better and safer place to live. As in any occupation there are bad apples. These pages will contain links to sites pertaining to not only Dispatchers and Law Enforcement Officers, but also Fire Fighters, EMS, K9's, and other information that might be of help to everyone. We all work as a team, from the first ringing of a phone until the Officer is finished with the call, each person having an important part in helping and protecting others.
Read about how I became a
Dispatcher as well as some of my thoughts.

5 State Peace Officers
Officers from Colordao, Kansas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas,
meet twice a year for training and to share information.

Check out the Web Site of #Firehouse on dal.net by clicking the link below. This Channel welcomes all Public Safety Personnel; Firefighters, Emergency Medical Service, Law Enforcement Officers, and friends of Public Safety Personnel to participate in the Chatroom.
Their Web site introduces you to the founders of the Channel, as well as many of the regulars that drop by, and much more.

If you'd like to join a Dispatchers Mailing List and meet some very nice people, I recommend this one. With close to 175 members Richard, the list owner, does a super job keeping us aware of what's currently going on. Some interesting discussions are posted as well. Surprisionally, with with number of members, the e-mail received isn't too much.
