The City
Crow: Respectful but tempered, Crow recognizes Intrigue as his lost Gem soon after she rescues him from a Warehouse. He loves Intrigue as passionately as he did on the other side of the River, despite her indifference toward him. Although he's still human, he joins up with a band of Chaotics to save The City.
Talon: With her bizarre cat's eyes and preternatural beauty, Talon is the most successful resident of Asylum, and the most miserable. Half Vampira and still half human, Talon's condition is more or less stable when Intrigue arrives to rescue her from a Warehouse.
Aymir: Despite his smugness, Aymir has grit. He's the most widely respected recruiter in The City, and even volunteers himself for a second term. He's not afraid to confront Intrigue, even after she turns Chaotic.
