Where we are today. . .
The project started with a piece of land given by the First Baptist Church in Cacuaco, a village located on the north-western outskirts of Luanda.
The shell of the first building is complete. The foundation for the perimeter wall had been dug first in accordance with Luandan law.
The Home has been well received by the community in which it is situated; they appreciate the value of it, are greatly intrigued by it and have given tangible support in the building phase.
We have been given various kitchenware items such as pots and pans. Bed linen, towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap and flannels and a first-aid kit are being stored by kind friends. There are also trees for transplanting, to provide vital shade.
