Where we are today. . . |
The project started with a piece of land given by the First Baptist Church in Cacuaco, a village located on the north-western outskirts of Luanda. |

The shell of the first building is complete. The foundation for the perimeter wall had been dug first in accordance with Luandan law. |

The Home has been well received by the community in which it is situated; they appreciate the value of it, are greatly intrigued by it and have given tangible support in the building phase. |

We have been given various kitchenware items such as pots and pans. Bed linen, towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap and flannels and a first-aid kit are being stored by kind friends. There are also trees for transplanting, to provide vital shade. |
