(Welcome) (Angola) (Aims) (Needs) (Donors) (Site) (Plan) (Contact us)
In Angola, the civil war has now come to an end after more than 25 years but it has left many millions of people internally displaced. Of these, many are children who have been orphaned, abandoned or who have simply become separated from their parents. In Luanda, many of these children live on the streets. They beg, steal, shine shoes and do other odd jobs simply to live. With no access to clean water and good food, they easily fall victim to disease and all kinds of abuse.
