RBS Club profile: Mountain Biking Club
Established in 1999 by club mentor, Punyasheel Gautam and a small group of students, the mountain bike club members explore and map out new and old riding routes in and around the valley. Rides range from half-day (30-60Km) to full day (60-100Km) and the occasional long distance riding which requires an overnight stay. Rides are held every weekend. Riding is not the only thing the club does. Overnight camping trips and barbecues under the night sky, star watching and sight seeing are also integrated into some of the rides. Up until today so far this is what the club has achieved.
