It is kind of hard to pin point any specific food that will drastically help you reduce weight. What I recommend though is that you examine closely your current diet. Then you make adjustments by the foods and drinks that are loaded with calories.

There are two easy ways to reduce calories.

We can either replace a high-calorie food in our  diet for a lower-calorie item (eg. We might want to choose a cup of skim milk – (90 calories) - rather than whole milk – (150 calories). Or, cut out a small high-calorie eating habit.

Sodas and alcoholic beverages will highly contribute to weight gain, so it would be advised that you restrict or abstain from such elements in your daily diet intake.

I know for a fact though that the best
diet in loosing and maintaining weight is a fruit diet. A diet that is made up of strictly fruits, vegetables and grains to substitute your protein. It is not so much about any fixed food. Weight loss remedies that work for your best friends might not work for you. It is basically about been disciplined and true to yourself.

Although weight reduction is based on the energy equation (energy expenditure must exceed energy intake)and this is where
exercise will play a very big role in maintaining your desired weight calorie-counting does have its limitations. Nutrition is also important.
