Realise values its members highly and works to provide as much support as possible to their efforts to make the world a better place. People generally become members to:
- make a positive difference for a better world.
- join a culture for their own belonging needs and enjoyment.
- meet other peeps with similar aspirations, interests, ideas and sense of duty.
- gain encouragement and support with their goals.
- interact within a group that works to inspire people to draw on their strengths in their participation.

We are working towards giving support to our members in the following ways:

- A kids area.

There are generally three types of members:
- Peeps that want to contribute to the movement towards a better world but is not sure where to start.
- Peeps that are moving towards a better world and are setting their own goals.
- Peeps that are actively involved in contributing directly to the organisation, raising awareness and assisting others to achieve their goals for a better world.

Realise relies heavily on its generous volunteers for every aspect of its organization. To bring this service requires many volunteer hours of skilled and unskilled work. Volunteers who can offer any time to the organization are greatly appreciated and can feel that they have directly contributed to the sustainability movement and a responsibility culture. Volunteers also often feel a greater sense of ownership and achievement when the organization and the sustainability movement realises their goals.
