Art of Fractal--My Favourites
My Fractal Galleries
These are my favourites, the ones that have given me a sense of special wonder at the magic of light and colour. I don't really 'make' fractals; I find them. I think they have always been there, just waiting to be found, each one unique--different from every other one. Once or twice I have lost or forgotten to save the calculations (spot files) for a fractal. Those lost ones can never be made again. Similar ones can be found, but they are never exactly the same.
Mask 5, one of a series
Two faces, a double theatrical, but unlike the two faces of Janus, these are exactly th same
Cobwebby metal threads form a pattern that is characteristic of the fSterling filters that are used by a lot of fractal artists. My metallics are here
Cute 2. This is another version of the image in the Creatures gallery
There is a little more than meets the eye in this picture.
Nets and tulle--something that is just pretty for a change.
Perspectives. Dark or light. Like grief and joy, they are closely related. The jewel at the heart. There nearly always is one. It just depends on how we look at things. Spiritual fractals are here
Over the teacups. Yes, that is what I have called this picture, and I really don't know why. It has a kind of Chinese dragon feel.
A glow in the sand. Number two of a series.
Grace
Who left their image graven in stone?
Blends. The art of making fractals is like any other fine art, and in this palette is so important. I like blue and gold. Obviously.
Africa. A metallic that I am very fond of, because it shows the dignity of the people. This one is a woman. Metallics gallery is here.
Lovely place this, run by our cousins in Australia. Please Visit
