So not many really monster good stories today, but I'd like to announce that after yesterdays little begging session we did in fact get a letter. Yes, a letter e-mail sent to us, and not even by mistake! Now we were so shocked by this we haven't been able to even do anything but stare at it. But being as how the section is for "letters" that implies more than one, so our goal is three, that's right three, letters to fill out the letters column. That'd be a column to be proud of if you ask me.

Following up yesterdays news of a Gameboy Advance version of Jet Grind Radio, THQ and Sony churn the Dreamcast sourced connections one more time to announce a version of Crazy Taxi as well. Called Crazy Taxi: Catch a Ride it features four new cabbies, and two new cities to powerslide around in while you pick up passengers with incredible tolerances for motion sickness. The game is set for release in March 17, 2003 in the US. While no screen shots seem to be avaliable we used legions of expensive computer graphics equipment to develop this mock-up that may give a glimpse of the future game. Look in wonder and awe.

If you don't already have seven or eight Nintendo Gamecubes laying around your house this coming week may be a good time to get one. Nintendo is offering a $25 rebate off the system, and $5 rebates on up to five games as well as the Wavebird controller, for a possible savings of $50. Basically you have to do the whole "send the UPC's and receipts" drill in to get your money. For all the official information Nintendo has a website all about what to do and what games are eligible for the deal.

Cheaters need to learn a new name today. Action Replay. No more Gameshark as the company responsible for making the device, Datel Electronics, is no longer affiliated with InterAct. The new Action Replay units will be coming out for the Gamecube and Playstation 2 towards the end of December and sell for $39.99; Gameboy Advance units are slated for January and chime in at $19.99. The Action Replay units use the same code system the Gameshark 2 and such utilized, and codes are becoming readily avaliable at the new official site.

Well, that's all for today. Being as how news is pretty slim around the weekend period there may be days (possibly Sunday) where nothing much is added, but that process will get worked out as the week goes on. Stay tuned kids, more fun is on it's way next time!
