-12.18.02- ...and then?

If you love the horror games and haven't already been over to Konami's website to see the new screens of Silent Hill 3 then take the time to do so now. The game looks pretty horrific to say the least. To say the most it looks pretty much like you'd expect Silent Hill 3 to look, which is pretty darn good.

We already briefly mentioned that future Grand Theft Auto games were in the works here, but now theres news of new installments of Max Payne and State of Emergency coming from Rockstar Games as well. One of those may make some people happy, and one of those won't.

If you've been following the cel shaded racer Auto Modellista at all you'll be pleased to hear that the game will be getting it's online ability completed, at least for the PS2 version so far. With some help from Sega up to 8 players should be able to race their cel shaded wheels off in online action. Talking trash and waiting for "player #5" to finally hit the right button so you can get the show on the road is also an added bonus.

Lastly, the PS3 is only a few years away so be sure to get all giddy when you hear that IBM, Toshiba, and Sony will apparently be getting down to business in 2004 regarding a new chip's placement in the forthcoming console. Dubbed "cell" I predict it might render things a bizillion trillion million kazillion times better than anything else ever has before, but amazingly enough only about 20-30 games that utilize it's awesome might will even be worth playing.

Well, that's all for today. I hope you have all been sending in letters to the letters column right? In case you haven't already we have two lovely topics there to write on, and would love to hear from you. Also, today is the opening day for the new Lord of the Rings movie. Where should you be? Good.
