Games ARE art. At least some of them are, like Rez, which recieved an artistic award at this year's show for the Agency for Cultural Affairs Media Arts Festival in Japan. It's good to see merits like these applied to games that dare to be different.

November was apparently a good month for Microsoft, and a bad month for the Xbox haters. Some 2.4 million units were sold, mainly thanks to the new bundle with the two free games. The launch of Xbox Live probably didn't hurt things either. Will this be a sufficient boost to make the system a long standing player in the console wars? Or are they just buying more time? Well, it depends on what message boards you read.
