Committes
The Rising Sun/Ohio County Chamber of Commerce is looking for volunteers to join one or more open committees. The committees we are currently accepting applications for are:
1. Navy Bean Festival Committee - The Navy Bean Fall Festival committee will meet on an as needed basis (Board decision) to plan the festival. The committee is responsiable to creating and implementing ideas on raising donations, targeting crafters and demonstrators, organizing the entertainment, developing a street layout, and creating an overall enjoyable day for everyone. All ideas will be present to the Board of Directors for approval.
2. Membership Committee - The membership committee will meet on an as needed basis (committee decision). The job of the committee is to effectively develop marketing stratigies to increase the Chamber's enrollment.
3. Marketing Committee - The marketing committee will meet on an as needed basis (committee decision). The committee will develop creative marketing ideas for the Chamber of Commerce and its members. Development partnership programs with local businesses and organizations, finding new and effective ways of marketing, and implementing board approved marketing ideas.
4. Relocation committee - The relocation committee will meet on an as needed basis (committee decision). The relocation committee will develop a packet that can be sent to persons requesting relocation information. This committee will develop the first ever relocation packet of this type.
