Wow you are very devoted to the art as I can see. I hope you have trained for half an hour like I said earlier because it will be vital to you right now. If you haven't then get to it right now. I can wait.
For those of you who have trained then read further on here. Gathering chi is the exact same as Chi Kung except for one difference. This time when you bring in the chi, you leave it inside your body and only breathe out the air. The best place to gather chi is in your Dan-Tian. The Dan-Tian is the center of all gravity in our body. It is located three inches below the belly button and then three inches inwards. It is a green ball that rests in here. If you focus on this while standing up, you will have great balance. To start off you must do the chi kung. This time when you breathe in, dont make the chi go down your lungs. Instead make it go into your dan-tian and let it rest there. Do this slowly like before. Repeat the process. Do this over and over and over for thirty minutes.  You should be comfortable for sitting for half an hour before because you trained earlier with getting used to the time limit. Once you have done this for thirty minutes, keep the chi inside you still. Try to feel it out. Not with your hands. Just try to sence the heat in your Dan-tian rise. Now just slowly stop the process and then take all the chi out of your Dan-Tian. This time gather for fifteen minutes and try to gather twice as fast as before. If done right, you should feel the same amount of chi in your Dan-Tian as you had when you traiend for thirty minutes. Keep practicing until you can gather a great amount of ki in less than a second. This should take some time to actually become great at. I would yet again like you to become very good before you move on.
