Chi can bring great strength if you use it right. To do this, pick a part of your body where you want to apply the strength to. Then control the chi to that part of the body. Just tell the chi what you want it to do mentally and do it. If you want to punch harder, let the chi come into your elbow, wrist, hand, and shoulder. When you make contact with the target, let all the chi jet out of your hand in the follwing procedure: Let the chi in the shoulder jet forward and collect with the elbow's chi and still go forward and mix with your wrist's chi, then go into your hand, combine all the chi, and let it come out of your hand. Visualize the chi is going through the target. Don't visualize it hitting the target because it wont cause as much pain. You can do the same with your legs to kick harder. You should be able to take a lot of pain because you condtioned earlier. Here is a technique that increases defence greatly by using more chi. The chi you will be using now is the Zen-Chi, which means Defence Chi. The technique's name is "Iron Shirt". You can do it to any part of the body except for the groind because if someone hits you there while you have Iron Shirt on it, you might get a permanent erection. Iron Shirt To do Iron Shirt, you must stand up and breathe in chi slowly through your nose. Visualize that is coming in and will help you with your defence, so it will strengthen the part of the body where it is placed at. Expand your stomach outward as possible. Take in all the chi slowly. Let it put pressure in your lungs. When your lungs are full try to breathe in more chi. There is a passageway that opens up in your lungs, so if there is enough force on them, the rest of the air will be taken in by the stomach. Neat, huh? While you are breathing in the chi, visualize it going to the part of the body you want to strengthen. People usually use Iron shirt on their stomach and neck. The reason for this is because the stomach and neck are usually the two most vital areas someone can strike it. If you want Iron Shirt in your stomach, let the chi flow down to your abdominal muscles ( abs ). If you want it in the neck, let it flow down into your neck. Let the chi collect where you want it to. Just don't visualize the chi goiing into your lungs because that's not what you want to strengthen. When you have fully inhaled, you have to push your stomach inward tightly as possible without the aid of your hands. Slowly exhale the air. All the chi is now in the place where you want it to be and you are stronger than ever. You can repeat this for more strength. The more you do this the strong your Zen-Chi becomes. If your intentions for this are to show off, your Zen-Chi will not become stronger. If you intentions are good, the Zen-Chi will become stronger. Good intentions are things like you are doing this so your Zen-Chi becomes stronger. You are doing this so that you wont get hurt in a fight. You are doing this to become better at chi. It is wise to practice this for a while so you get the hang of it. During a fight, you will be able to do this in a second. My friend's SiFu's chi is so strong that once he performed Iron Shirt on his neck and let five fully grown men thrust a metal pole at it. The pole bent in half through the center. His SiFu's neck was perfectly fine. Speed Power |
