*Manda Faye* My CC!!!! I love my sister soooo much! When we're together either it can be really serious or really crazy!! And it's always so much fun with her! Some of our funny moments, sayings, or happenings... ~When we were younger, if we got in a fight, our punishment was to stand in the corner and hug for a certain amount of time. It's really humbling to stand and hug a person you can't stand at that moment. |
God made us sisters. Hearts made us friends. |
~I don't even really remember how it came about, but our T-Rex and Pterodactyl show kind of thingy is quite a sight to behold. Just imagine two grown women running through a house yelling key phrases such as "Fly Pterodactly Fly" or "T-Rex! T-Rex!" and making key noises to try and imitate those specific creatures. It's quite hilarious and entertaining if you ask me. ~Having had many of the same teachers and professors all through elementary, middle, and high school, as well as college, it doesn't help any of my teachers remember my name. I am still called Amanda by Dr. Gardner almost every time he says my name in choir. ~The similarities between us physically have made people mistake us, one for the other. It's amazing that we have 4 years age difference between us but people will still mistake us for twins. (silly people!) When I walked into the sight signing portion of my audition for Mason Gross, I didn't say one word as to who I was. Professor Kataja knew me, not only because she had met me one time - 4 years earlier, but because she could tell that I was my sister's sister. *giggles* ~Oh, and who could forget our trip to see small a.m. at the Sparta First Aid Building. We were the only people (besides the band) that were over the age of 16. The band was great but it was kind of funny to be the oldest people there. ~My sister has this odd obsession with the Sims. "Ah, broomala hidala!" "This graw is fretashay!" ~My sister and I both majored in Music Education. Fortunately, I decided to stay in the program. *nervous laughter* ~The progression of the nickname CC. You'd have to ask her. All I can remember is sister to CeeC to CC. ~When my sister got her new Mitsubishi Spyder Eclipse, we were driving to meet Kevin to go and pick up Manda's Chinchilla, Andy. My sister now drives stick shift and at that point she still wasn't that great at it. I ended up greeting Kevin that day with coffee all over my lap. And then I got bit by one of the evil Chinchillas the girl had...grrr...haha... ~The best package I've received at college was my Valentine's Day package from "Cupid." Thank you CC! ~My sister and I have this obsession of sorts of buying "Sister" picture frames. My count at the moment is up to probably around 5. ~I love to sing with my CC! If you're lucky, maybe you'll hear us. We usually end up singing together at church or the Lakeside Retirement Home. ~"You can do it CC!!! You the smartest CC I have!!!" "I am the only CC you have!" "Yeah, but you still the smartest!" ~Going to the football game three hours early (a Shaw family first)...and Christmas shopping! ...these are just a few...I'll add more when I have some more time... CC, I love you so very much and I'm so glad that we're sisters. You ARE the bestest CC I have!!! I miss you so much and I love you bunches!! Thank you for always being there for me and supporting me...I couldn't have asked for anything more. You are the bestest and the brightest! |
