*Scott, Jacqui and Garrett*
What can I say about Scott and Jacqui other than they're two of the world's most wonderful people?!  God has blessed my life so much through their friendship!

I met Scott when he started as Grace's new Youth Pastor back in the day.  It was refreshing to have a new face and one that brought us into depth of God's Word.  Scott was so much fun and planned bunches of trips for the youth group.  He even made "skinny ronald" wipe-off boards for each of us for Christmas.

Jacqui had started attending Grace and helping out with the youth group as the female leader.  We needed a woman to be there for the girls, since it was mostly girls...and Jacqui was wonderful!  We had so many fun times with her.  Tracy and I really had a major bond with her considering we were the oldest attendees.

Eventually, Scott and Jacqui started dating...and a few months later, after a nice dinner with Scott, Jacqui came home with a ring on her finger.  Scott kept asking Jacqui if she wanted anything to drink (his ploy to get her to the bathroom).  When she finally left, he got the box ready...he had bought her earrings prior to that night and gave her the matching necklace.  Well when she came back to the table, he gave her the necklace and then offered to put it on her.  As she was holding up her hair, he slipped the ring on the chain and shut the clasp.  Jacqui reached down to feel the charm and felt a ring as well.  Of course, Jacqui was ecstatic right up until her wedding day.

Oh, funny story about their wedding day...I ended up with mononucleosis the weekend of Hurricane (Tropical Storm) Floyd.  Scott and Jacqui had asked Amanda and I to play at their wedding.  I said yes immediately and was more than ready and excited to be a part of this extra special day.  Unfortunately, the day before their wedding, I was on my living room couch, covered in a rash from head to toe.  A most interesting sight, at the least.  I didn't get to play at their wedding, but I did still go to it and enjoy it as much as I possibly could...it was a georgeous day and a beautiful ceremony!

Even though they're busy now with a family (hooray Baby Garrett!) and I don't get to see them very often, they are always in my prayers and thoughts.  Jacqui will call me on occasion just to talk about anything and everything.  And one summer at camp they sent me this great care package with goodies, pictures, poems, and all sorts of stuff.

God has truely blessed my life with their friendship and I hope and pray that He will continue to bless their lives, especially with the addition of the little one.

God Bless you always....miss you and hopefully see you soon!
All my love forever, Roni
