What is included in the cost of each class? Each of my classes has been priced as low as possible to make them available to all that are interested. Each class includes hours of classroom time, samples of what we have made to take home, and a booklet of information specific to that class. What is a sliding scale? Each class has a sliding scale. This means that if a class is priced at $40 - $60 then that class costs $60. However, if you are unable to afford this, then there is a discount given to as low as $40. In this way I hope to make these classes available to all who want to come. I trust that each person is able to judge their situation and pay appropriately. Is Wildcrafting, or harvesting good for the environment? It is my belief that as humans we have a responsibility to caretake the land we live on. In each class you will learn not only how to harvest plants without negative impacts on the eco-system, but also how to harvest plants in such a way as to propogate growth and leave it better than you found it. I am not sure if I can come to class, can I just wait and come to class on the day of? Class size is limited so you must pre-register for classes. For each class I buy a specific amount of supplies and I need to know how many students there will be several days in advance. If it is past the registration date you can always call me to see if there are openings. |
