I should have told everyone this earlier, and I know you all hate me now. The dealine could not be reached because: 1.) There weren't fics found for all the catagories 2.) The Black Swan was undergoing some extensive remodeling 3.) My teacher are all on different diets and don't eat enough chocolate. Thus, they are cranky and give me too much homework. So, 2003's awards have been cancelled, sorry to everyone who participated. Simple, I read your fic randomly, or you send me an e-mail telling me that your or some other guy's fic totally rocks and should win an award. In the e-mail, tell me what ROXY Award/Awards it should win, your or the author's name, the fic's name, the basic plot (don't give too much of it away... write one to four sentences about it), and where to find the fic (links are cool, too. But don't send attatchments, I'm a paranoic who thinks people want to crash my already fickle computer). Lastly, I'll e-mail you to let you know if your fic won (or didn't). | 1. DON'T send me your fanfic as an e-mail attachment. Being paranoic, I'll probably delete your e-mail because I never open attachment from people I don't know. 2. DON'T write discriminating fanfiction. Discriminating is hereby defined as fanfiction that supports homophobia, nazism and other such organizations, as well as fanfiction in racist theme. You can have any of the following in your fanfic, you just should not show support and encouragement for them. 3.) Don't write fanfiction supporting underage relationships. Underage is hereby defined as anyone under the age of thirteen in a sexual relationship. You can portray such a relationship, you just shouldn't glorify it or encourage it. 4.) Try not to overdo character bashing. Just because you loathe Relena is not an excuse to write a fanfic detailing how your favorite character sadistically tortures and rapes her. 5.) The fanfic must have a plot (no PWP, unless you're nominating it for the loser award.) If you're fanfic is 99.9% lemon with just a flimsy love story you threw into the first chapter while the other twelve are lemon, lemon and lemon, have your head examined. |
