The Greatest Hits
Description;  The Dark Knight and the Feline Femme Fatale in Egyptian garb.

Both figures are appooximately 5" tall.  The Batman piece is decked-out in stylistic battle-armor, mostly in greys, blues, with very nice turqoise and bronze high-lights.  Catwoman is in like-wise stylized garb in dark-purple with bronze jewelry.

Both figures come with a number of extras.  Batman's cape and cowl are removable and he comes with a battle-staff while Catwoman's cowl is also removable and she comes with her own quarter-staff.
Egytian Batman and Catwoman- Batman: Legends of the Batman
Meat and Potatoes; 4.7
Perks; 5.0
Homer Factor; 5.0
Ah, 'Elseworlds.'  Ok, ok, so technically the whole 'What If' idea has been around for a while, and was given lots of life by Marvel.  Still, the concept is very cool; take characters we're familiar with and put them SOME PLACE ELSE.  The multitude of stories done with a ton o' characters are amazing; 'Gotham by Gaslight', 'The  Nail', 'In Darkest Night...'  Fun stuff.  Well Hasbro took this idea and ran hard and fast with it with Batman, and why not?  If there's a character begging to be shot around the world and around time, it's the Dark Knight.  Hasbro's 'Legends of the Batman' line was terrific; the Dark Knight was given a samurai flair, a Robin-Hood make-over, and my favorite, the Egyptian look for Batman and Catwoman.  For you budding Egyptologists, you also know how appropriate have an Egyptian version of Catwoman is  Sound dorky?  ...well, ok, you probably have images of 'The Ten Commandments' going through your head.  Fortunately, the figures would make Osiris proud.

The meat and potatoes of both pieces are very good.  Both emphasize what made this line awesome; great sculpting and good poses.  Catwoman and Batman both have very good details, recreating costumes that accent the Egyptian theme very well.  Granted, an archeologist would have a cow if they saw these pieces, but for anyone else, it works.  Details such as the 'plates' in Batman's armor and the sections of Catwoman's necklace are a nice touch on the figures.  In addition, both pieces are pre-posed in pretty decent action poses.  The articulation... well, Hasbro's Batman figures tend to lack articulation; shoulders, hips, and neck is all you get.  You can't win them all.

The perks of the figures are a nice touch.  Batman's cape and cowl are removable, revealing a cool bat head-dress and he's got a battle-staff with a bat on the head.  Meanwhile, Catwoman's head-dress is also removable and she also comes with a nice quarter-staff with a giant cat's paw on it.

Homer factor?  Way high.  As you've noticed, I'm a bit of a Batman nut.  Hey, I can admit that.  Heheheheheheheheheehehehehe.  However, even with that bias in mind, these figures merit attention.

Over all, great stuff; well-done figures that place familiar characters in a very original setting.  AND, it's a two-pack.  Woohoo.
