Ok, what's so hard about an AFFORDABLE samurai figure? I don't mean one that's based on a superhero or video game. It shouldn't be that hard to find a simple samurai that isn't imported and costs $250 after tariffs and shipping from Tokyo. Oddly enough for all the cops, army dudes, cowboys, et al to be found, finding a samurai action figure is quite a quest! Ok, time to change that!
As always, it's ML sides, about 6" tall, give or take. Hey, this ain't no stinkin' doll! Our samurai is decked out in a kimono and hakama pants. Ideally the hakama pants and the sleeves of the kimono are constructed of rubberized-plastic so it drapes and flexes.
And what accessories does our bushi come with? The samurai's daisho are designed so that they can be slipped in and out of the waist sash. He should also have a removable straw hat and 'poncho'.
In a perfect world there is also another version in full samurai armor, most of it removable. Instead of the straw rain gear this figure comes with a bow and arrow.
Ah, at last! Toshiro Mifune would smile!
