Unicron!
Confession time; I re-watched 'Transformers - The Movie' about a month ago.  The last time I saw it was... jeez, almost 20 years ago... and almost laughed myself silly over how bad it was.  Funny how time makes thing so much better then they actually were.  Choppy animation, corny dialog, you get the idea.  However, the one thing that still rocked was Unicron!  hey, how can you mess with a planet-sized Transformer?

For many moons, rumors of a Unicron figure floated around, and even a few prototypes appeared.  After decades of praying, Trans-Fans across the planet got their wish when Hasbro created Unicron for mass consumption!  The piece is very impressive from what I've seen on the shelves and fan reviews, but it's a bit short of what I personally would have liked to see.  Sure, you CAN'T really do this piece justice and have it affordable.. or weight less then 50 lbs, but here are a few suggestions to kick-up this dude.

Hmmmmmmmmmmm... ideally, you make this thing bigger.  No, we're not talking the size of your arm-chair, but how about the same height as Fortress Maximus when it's in 'bot form?  Hey, this is a PLANET, so it's supposed to be huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuge.  The added volume should also help to add a few features we saw in the movie, such as the giant, mechanical, planet-chomping 'mouth'.  Something else cool that would be possible with the added girth to the figure is the figure could be 'opened-up' to show additional 'chambers'.  How about a 'prison' for captured Transformers and a control center with seats for Mini-Cons.

Speaking of Mini-Cons, let's add a few of the minions from the movie; Cyclonus, Scourge and the Sweeps in Mini-Con form.  No, it couldn't be quite as cool as having the full-sized pieces, but having them around as Mini-Cons is a very neat homage to the 'toon.

So there you go, a seriously butt-kicking, foot-stomping, raise-the-roof version of Unicron!
