Usagi Yojimbo, the Ronin Line
A few years ago a Usagi figure was released, not bad, really.  Yes, I'm a huge fan of the McFarlane super-duper-sculpt-that-captures-ever-pimple-on-your-face-and-enough-articulation-to-duplicate-Jeet-Kun-Do-moves.  On the other hand, there's also something to be said about a figure which captures the spirit of it's character, even if that means having less detail in sculpting and less points of articulation.  That's what was captuerd in the Usagi figure; the simple lines of the comic, and that classic grim look on our favorite ronin's face.  Unfortunately, the line stopped at just Usagi's piece.  WAITAMINUTE!!  What about Tomoe, what about Gen, WHAT ABOUT JEI!!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Let's see... who's the bare MINIMUM we should have.... Keeping the look consistent, each of these figures will have the same level of scuplt and articulation as the original.  Ok, we have Gen, the unscrupulous and occasionally honorable rhino bounty-hunter, two-pack of Tomoe and Lord Noriyuki, and Jei, the Blade of the Gods.  Each packed with their corresponding weapon, and let's jazz things up a bit.  Each piece comes with a stand; Gen with a stand like an open field, some tall grass, Tomoe and Noriyuki will have a stand that looks like the grounds of a palace.  Now  Jei... hmmmmmmm... something with rocks, some nice brimestone qualities to it.

And there you have it, a few compatriots and adversaries to keep everyone's favorite samurai rabbit occupied.
