Youth Camp 2003 was awesome and life changing for all teens and adults attending! God moved in all of our hearts! Look for pictures here of camp, some are of youth from Rock Solid, and friends they met while at camp! If you didn’t go to youth camp this summer- don’t miss out on God’s blessings, attend Youth Camp 2004! A big thanks goes to Dena, and Ruth (she made all of our boo-boos go away!) They were there during the entire camp. Also, thanks goes to Pastor and Anthony for transportation.
Youth Convention:

November 7 & 8 the youth of 1st Assembly of God, Walnut Ridge, traveled to the Hot Springs Convention Center to participate in Youth Convention. Over 2,000 1st Assembly youth and adult leaders from across the state attended this yearly event. The theme for the entire weekend was “Unfinished Business.” Nine youth and three adults attended from Walnut Ridge. About STL
Speed The Light (STL) is the student-initiated ministry that provides transportation and communications equipment to missionaries across the nation and in over 150 countries around the world.

STL has its humble beginnings in 1944 when Ralph W. Harris (then head of the NYD), prayed for a way to give A/G youth the opportunity to help missionaries in their work.

Today, STL is one of the most effective missions programs in the church world. Assemblies of God students have accepted a great responsibility to voluntarily raise funds to purchase the equipment.

Since its inception, STL has raised a total of $136,407,483.15 for missionary equipment around the world.
