EXECUTIVE ORDER 11921 allows the Federal Emergency Preparedness Agency to develop plans to establish control over the mechanisms of production and distribution, of energy sources, wages, salaries, credit and the flow of money in U.S. financial institution in any undefined national emergency. It also provides that when a state of emergency is declared by the President, Congress cannot review the action for six months. STATE OF THE UNION: 10/2002
Under Bush's tax proposal everyone believes that they are all really getting tax refunds. What no one realizes is that that the majority of the money is coming indirectly from the social security trust fund. The fund is what everyone pays into and then later when one reaches retirement age those funds are supposed to provide meager financial support.
Well the reality is that these tax cuts and refunds benefit the top
wealthy 10% who receive 40% of the projected tax cuts at the expense
of the majority of taxpayers and the dwindling middle class. US census
figures for 2001 have revealed an 11.5% increase in the level of poverty
in this nation, which has steamrolled after the stock market crash while
cost of living expenses continue to spiral out of control as well. Spending
social security surpluses, now the norm for conservatives will cause
social security to be fiscally insolvent, i.e., paying out more than
it takes in, by 2015.
So that means when the majority of the children
of baby boomers reach retirement age there
will be no social security safety net. Oh and now with the perpetual
bear market --privatization of social security sounds like a bad idea.
This stuff isn't rocket science. It's time for American's to become
reacquainted with their common sense, instead of offering blind support
to partisan politics, that has polarized and paralyzed the democratic
Generally speaking most congressional legislation
reflects multinational corporate interests at the expense of the actual
essence of the US's intrinsic geostrategic principles, territorial sovereignty
which in reality is being sacrificed by corporate industrial flight
to the third world. Once in the third world MNC's and US trade policies
manufacture the animosity of third world nationalism which is conveniently
defined as terrorism, by the US because it relies on violence to achieve
a political aim. Of course this terrorism is analogous to the US's historical
practices of its own intervention policies, -- which more or less has
resembled imperialism in a nurse's outfit.
Now as we are single-handedly become divested
of our manufacturing base, seeing it replaced by retail low skill low
wage jobs, while programs for education and job training are being readily
scaled back. The reality for such ideology has been the corporate organizing
myth of globalization and its fixture on privatization of national agencies
and deregulation of utilities. In every case while the line still sells:
Corporate America can do Washington's job for half the price. The reality
of such a statement has shown unequivocally that privatization and deregulation
have increased the cycle of poverty and now American tax payers are
being asked to foot the bill for corporate impropriety.
So as we sit back and do nothing while the sale
of indulgences continues, the PAC system in Washington, along with middle
eastern oil continues to serve only one purpose: to grease the guns
and butter racket of American corporate republicanism and the which
is only beholden to global corporate managerialisim at the expense of
the sovereignty of all countries. Truly the majority of MNC's are parasitic
entities of globalized trade. The actual terms of foreign direct or
corporate investment, benefit only the MNC's, who have moved operations
overseas where human rights and job safety are considered extraneous
in the productivity quotient of modern globalized trade which of course
is the trend in the third world and the end
of a way of life once known as the American dream, and the company
