Members' current Rehearsal and Concert/Event Schedule

Mondays, 7:30 pm (ongoing).
Rehearsal time has been changed to 7:30 to 9:30pm from the usual 7:00 - 9:00pm schedule. This is to accommodate Kammerchor rehearsal from 6:45 until 7:30. Singers are encouraged to come any time after 6:30 and socialize, organize music folders and be ready to sing promptly at 7:30.
Rehearsals with conductor Mariano Vales are at the Concord Clubhouse, located at 2434 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, above the Old Europe Restaurant. Mapquest Map.

   Monday, April 16, 2007 - Rehearsal at the Scottish Rite Center at 6:30pm.

Saturday, April 21, 2007 -- Spring Concert "Vom Meeresstrand zum Alpenland - A Musical Journey through Germany"
with Maestro Mariano Vales. Held in the beautiful Auditorium of the Scottish Rite Center, 2800 Sixteenth Street, NW, Washington, DC 20009. It will be followed by an elegant reception in the Ballroom of the Center, catered by our own Austrian chef Siegfried. The DJ Wayne "half-step" Miller will provide music for dancing.
Tickets $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Students $15 (age 25 and under with proper student ID).

To purchase tickets, write your check payable to "Washington Saengerbund" and mail to Mary Stradley, 10134 Mosby Woods Drive, Fairfax, VA 22040. Tickets will not be mailed; all tickets will be held at the door.

Concert dress code for singers:
Ladies: Long black skirts, long sleeved white blouse, pink belt and matching flower arrangement.
Men: Tuxedo or dark suit, white shirt with black bow tie.
