| About Kaioh Michiru Name: Kaioh Michiru Meaning: Maturing Ocean King; her last name also means "Neptune" in Japanese Age: 16 Birthday: March 6 Hair: Aquamarine and very wavy; in fact Jupiter is the only other senshi with wavy hair. Michiru keeps her hair loose. Eyes: Turquoise or Aquamarine. Her eyes also appear to get darker as she gets angry. Other Physical Characteristics: Michiru is not incredibly tall, reaching only 5'4" in the "S" season. Michiru is strikingly beautiful in both the anime and manga versions. She is definitely the most feminine, with competition only from Rei (Sailor Mars). Not surprisingly, Haruka enjoys flirting with Rei quite a bit! |

| In-Depth Personal Stats Hobbies: Michiru's hobbies include playing the violin and swimming, both which she (not surprisingly) excels at. She and Ami have a swimming race in one episode -- they tie each time they race! I guess that's why they are the water senshi, right? One anime addition is her painting, which she does not do in the manga to my knowledge. Favorite Color/Gemstone: Michiru's favorite color is marine blue or aquamarine (I have heard both). Incidently, her favorite gemstone is the Aquamarine, a light blue to green colored stone that is actually a variation of emerald (it's my birthstone as well, and I love it's color). ... Goo~ooo, Michi! Favorite and Least Favorite Foods: Michiru's favorite dish is meat strips (yum!) She seems like the kind of person who would be a vegetarien, ne? Her least favorite food is mushrooms... hey, even I find those rather bland! Favorite and Least Favorite School Subjects: Her favorite school subject is Music, and that makes sense for such and artistically enlightened girl. She obviously enjoys all of her subjects (must get good grades like Ami), because she doesn't have a least favorite! Family?: Michi-chan's family is obviously very wealthy, considering her mansion by the sea. She is currently living with Haruka, her roomate. I do not believe she has any siblings. |
| Sailor Neptune... The Elegant Figther Transformation: Michiru shouts "Neptune Planet Power!" to transform into the elegant fighter, Sailor Neptune! Her second phrase is "Neptune Crystal Power!" Btw, "make-up!" is shouted after either of the phrases in the original version, and in the manga, 'Crystal Power' transforms her into SailorStarNeptune. Weapons: Neptune's Deep Aqua Mirror is her weapon. She uses it to perform one attack, and combined with the other outers, it is one of the talismans used to create the Holy Grail of the Messiah (Sailormoon). In the manga, it helps to summon Sailor Saturn as well. Attacks: Her attacks are "Deep Submerge" and "Submarine Reflection". Deep Submerge creates a giant ball of energy from her hands that is sent within to split waves, causing a watery path of destruction. Submarine Reflection is not really any attack, but she uses her mirror to throw off any evil illusions and shine forth the truth. "Neptune Violin Tide" is an attack used later in the manga. More About Being an 'Outer': Outer senshi were given the hard responsibility of guarding the solar system from any menances. Their powers are far greater than the inners. The outer senshi are often aloof towards the inners, and would rather rely on the individual than the team. Sailor Uranus often works as a team with Sailor Neptune, and in the anime they are searching for "heart crystals" or "pure hearts". In the manga, they already have their weapons and are not as aloof towards the Inners. Also, they immediately accept Sailormoon as their leader, though in the anime they seem suspicious for quite some time. |
