Eriol first appeared in CCS in Season 3 as an exchange student from England. He easily befriended Sakura, who with her naive nature, did not know his true self. In fact, he got on with everyone, except Syaoran and Kero-chan, who thought he was mysterious. Takashi Yamazaki was one of the people he got most friendly to. Each time Yamazaki started his usual lies, Eriol would back him up. Eriol is actually a reincarnation of Clow Reed, who lives with his two guardians, Suppi and Ruby Moon.
