Kero-chan is infamously known as 'Stuffed Animal' to Syaoaran and Meiling. Sakura only met him through the awakening of the Clow Book, as he is the appointed guardian of the Clow Cards. The cute little combination of a lion-bear was lazily in deep slumber until then, as together with Sakura, he must help capture the cards and restore them to their natural order.

As Kero-chan cannot accompany Sakura to school and other such places (well, at least he tries not to), he is stuck at Sakura's house with treacherous boredom and develops a sort of video game addiction. Not to mention stuffing himself with food. Though he may be a real guardian deep down, no one can deny that he is the kawaii 'stuffed animal' which everyone loves.
