The doll is a Bead Blast Barbie and she is wearing an outfit made myself from a Terry Fox design for adult women. I hand-sewed all the braiding aroud the empire seam, the blazer edge and the edge of the hat brim and around the crown. The white rose on the blazer is a purchased notion. The column on the left is merely a kitchen paper tube glued onto a card cone. The head on top is part of the 1983 Barbie Dream Store collection - as is the bag/jewelry display stands on the right of the photo and some of the small accessories. The table in the centre is merely a piece of plexiglass on two cake columns. And that fancy little cosmetic display case on top of the Barbie unit is a container that holds the toothbrushes upright on supermarket shelf. Looking at this photograph, I can see that it lacks a background of some sort. If you have any ideas, please share. Email me. |
