| Above my first Blue Gouldian Finches.These are my most expensive birds that I have brought.The pair cost me 80 Euros.The Hen on the left is from 2002 and the Cock is from 2000.According to the breeder they have already bred once so we will see how it goes.The new breeding Cage has arrived both Blue's are in it at the moment but will swop with one Hen out of my Aviary and the Blue Hen goes into the aviary. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| This is my new breeding cage.I have bought it extra as I'm going to try breeding Blue Gouldians.I will remove the Hen when the Quarantine is finished and place another Hen in.The Hen will then go into the main aviary till I get Black headed Cock.Both my other Cocks are Red headed. I am also go to order a flight cage from the firm approx. 1.22m long by 40cm high and 40cm deep,for my fledglings I may change this to a bigger affair.I will also add a Bird light when it arrives as I have had to place the cage in a corner.On the left of the box is a door with the shelf for the nest box(also supplied) and below a tray for the food.This is completely out of plastic and this makes it alot easier to clean. |
