I'm going to start with a few pictures of my cars,  if you want your car featured, please email me and i'll be happy to help!
Project 1...  1.4 8v Astra 'L' 4-door.

Hehe, what a fun car. My first motor, which after too many scrap yard visits to remember, ended up looking like the real thing! Bonus find were the 4-door sideskirts and door trims. I wired up electric windows, mirrors and central locking. Interior was re-couloued blue and black, and ended up a good looking car.

Sadly is now laid to rest in the scrap yard.
Project 2: The valver.

After getting silly insurance quotes for the white car, I enquired about insuring a particular 2.0 16v GTE which had been sitting in a work collegues garage for a couple of years... It was cheaper than the shopping cart! So the obvious move came about.

This has been the project car, big-time. It's had so much replaced, there is hardly much of the original left! I could make a website entirely about this car, and the 3 years i've been working on it. But it'll be up for grabs as soon as the new one is on the road!
James (Beany) Green's GTT... I know introducing a French car onto an Astra GTE website is a criminal offence, but he has put a lot of time and effort and a tremendous amount of money into making a £250 banger into a very good machine. It's had a brand new engine, brand new Garrat turbo, pretty much all of GT-Tunings' shiny bits, most of the bodywork, wheels, brakes etc.. a story we all know too well!

And having known him all my life... it's only fair his car goes on!
Matt's GTE, rare in Silk Violet, even better: in concourse condition without having a full rebuild! It's also a regularly used car...

Includes home-made ally strut brace, home-made stainless battery cover, home-made stainless fuel pump guard, home-made stainless bonnet support. FSE boost valve with home-made ally bracket. Apart from that pretty much everything is standard and accountable for with genuine Vauxhall recipts. Oh, apart from the Vectra V6 brakes! re-drilled to suit 4-stud by Matt.

Matt is very paritcular and thorough with this car, and it shows. the last detail is spot-on.
Matt's new toy: An ex-school car from the Castle Donnington track. Has had a lot played with under the bonnet and goes like stink!

6 point Safety Devices cage, stripped out, fitted extinguishers, buckets and harnesses etc...

He spent a lot of time and effort (before and after work every day!) and money on making it raceworthy. These photos were taken at Castle Donnington on his first race day. On the practice he did well, being the fastest novice, but unfortunately the races were called off due to very high winds. 20-03-04
My cousin Phil... Another total rebuild! He's been tinkering with this car for a few years, but recently has had the bit between his teeth, and it's now on the road!

Was re-sprayed inside and out, engine was rebuilt inside out too!

I stll think it's a crazy engine, push-rod, chain driven cam, ohv, carb, 1400cc... with a massive turbo bolted on!

Nuts.

This is James bartleys Polo. He's been spending his time and money on paintwork, wheels, lowering, chrome bits, polishing, lights and interior.

If you look close, you'll see a twin "beetle like" exhause system, made by powerflow.

Turned out a nice looking polo! Very German!
