*Day
13 and Melinda nervously steps out
from behind the tree that Joseph just
crashed into looking thankful to be
alive. Considering what is about to
happen next in the game, one player
will not be so lucky.*
Melinda: "Hello players. As you
are aware, as long as the Murderer is
still in the game she/he will subject
you to a "Murderer's
Challenge" every time the game
mode changes. Well, you did not
manage to rid the game of the
Murderer in either the Survivor Mode
or the Mole Mode....so now is the
time!! The players who perform the
best in the challenge will avoid a
grisly fate.....however, the players
who do not excel are leaving
themselves open for a dreadful,
messy, stomach-turning death (or just
a departure from the game, whatever).
The challenge will be released at 9pm
EST Sunday, May 18th. It will be a
timed challenge and since there are
11 of you left the first SIX to
finish will be safe from the KILLER'S
WRATH. The bottom five will be ripe
for the picking.....the killer gets
to personally chose which player in
the bottom five will not move on in
the game. Good luck and I'll see you
tomorrow night!"
* Melinda remembers Joseph's
dangerous exit and decides to use her
bus pass instead, to heck with a
dramatic and dangerous
exit........safety first!*
*It's Day 14 and the killer is
anxious. The killer is waiting for 10
people to participate in the
"Murderer's Challenge" so
the killing can begin again. No one
knows who the killer is......but the
killer knows all of them. After the
challenge the killer will get to pick
a victim. Only six will be safe; five
will have to sleep with their eyes
open...not that it will help. The
players gather for the challenge
outside a rundown lighthouse. The
killer is among them. Melinda appears
in the doorway with the challenge
instructions.*
Melinda: "Tonight you are going
to be putting together the
"Murderer's Puzzle". There
are nine pieces to the puzzle and you
have to find the pieces. Once the
puzzle is put together just follow
the instructions on it. You will be
sending me an email at
vincentvanghoul@yahoo.com (please CC
bravesruul@yahoo.com as well) , the
puzzle will tell you what that email
must say. (Please remember that this
is an American based game, just keep
that in mind...it will come in handy)
You are NOT required to send in the
completed puzzle, the puzzle itself
will tell you what you must include
in your email to me.
Your search for puzzle pieces will
begin here:
http://www.oocities.org/sbbtamr2/avoidmurder101.html
This challenge will require some
thought and some searching. The first
six to complete the challenge
correctly will be safe. The bottom
five will have to hope that the
killer does not prematurely end their
game.
*Melinda heads back to the
lighthouse, but before she goes she
makes brief eye-contact with the
killer.......she can't help but
notice the look of anticipation*
*It's late on Day 14 and the
Murderer's Challenge is over. Melinda
gathers the players outside the
lighthouse once again as the players
wait to hear who is vulnerable to the
killer*
Melinda: "The puzzle has been
completed and you sent in the Miranda
Rights. The key factor to this
challenge was time. The first six
people to send in those rights are
safe from the killer..... time was
very important as the person who sent
in their email sixth was merely
seconds before the 7th place
finisher. Now for the rankings
1st: KYLE
2nd: SIMONE
3rd: BRIAN
4th: GORDO
5th: BOB
6th: DARREN
7th: Aaron
8th: Fred
9th: Toby
10th: Dean
11th: Andrew
There you have it........Sorry to
say, but Aaron, Fred, Toby, Dean and
Andrew...... one of you will be going
home courtesy of the KILLER. The rest
of you are safe and just have to wait
for the Killer's decision.
Once the killer strikes we will let
you know.
Now the game gets thrown back to
Joseph. He will bring you the
Killer's Decision and give you
information on the next step in this
game."
*Melinda turns the lights off in the
lighthouse.......hope there are no
boats out there*
*It's afternoon on Day 15 in the
game. Since last night, they have
been flown via helicoptor to a very
posh deluxe hotel in some exotic
location that is only shown on E!'s
Wild On travel show. Joseph has spent
the entire time since he last left
the players with Melinda searching
for the exotic women of these places,
but finds out that 99% of them are
simply placed in the locations for
the show. Bummer. Anyways, we pick up
on the lavish balcony of the hotel,
where 9 of our 11 players are. Joseph
enters....*
Joseph: HEY HEY HEY! IT FEELS GOOD TO
BE BACK! Hey.... where's Toby and
Fred?
Simone: I have no idea.
Aaron: Yea, we haven't seen either of
them all day.
Joseph: Hmmm... interesting! Seems
like the killer has struck.
*Just at that point the door to the
balcony swings open and in
walks........ TOBY! TOBY IS SAFE!*
Joseph: Well, it seems that Fred has
been eliminated from the game by the
killer. What are the killer's
motives? Who knows? But we do know
that like Devon, the killer has
gotten him. However, unlike Devon, we
will resurrect Fred so he can keep up
with the rest of the game and vote at
the end as the first juror, who gets
one vote. He will be keeping up with
the rest of the game. So, the rest of
you are safe, but could Fred possibly
be our mole? Let's see.
*Joseph sits down at a very obviously
pre-set laptop hooked up a TV screen.
Joseph types F-R-E-D!

AND
THE SCREEN TURNS............ GREEN!*
Joseph: Well, what do you know?!
We've cut the cast from 20 to 10, and
we still have our mole and our
killer. Some good news for some of
you though, due to the low number of
players remaining, this is the last
Killer Elimination. But the Killer
and the Mole will both continue to do
Journal Entries and as the game
narrows down then they may just get
eliminated. Or maybe you will! But
the next part of the game is the
craziest and the most difficult. It
could take down any of you. It is a
little game I like to call The
Amazing "You better have good
chemistry with a dedicated
partner" Race! YES! Like the
first season, you are about to come
into contact with 2 races, each one
eliminating one team of 2 people! So
after this round, we will be down to
6 people. So... why wait any longer?
Let's get down to the teams!
Now, the last Murderer's Challenge
served two purposes. It's obvious
purpose and it's not-so-obvious
purpose. It also gave us rankings for
us to divide you all into 5 teams of
2. With Fred, eliminated here are the
rankings.....
1st: KYLE
2nd: SIMONE
3rd: BRIAN
4th: GORDO
5th: BOB
6th: DARREN
7th: Aaron
9th: Toby
10th: Dean
11th: Andrew
Now, last season we paired people up
in our rankings according to first
goes with last, second goes with
next-to-last, etc. I decided to
change things up a little bit this
season. Because we have 10 very
active, dedicated players
remaining.... I figured I would
reward the players who worked the
hardest in last night's challenge.
So... here are our 5 teams!
Kyle and Simone
Brian and Gordo
Bob and Darren
Aaron and Toby
Dean and Andrew
There you are. As you can see, I
paired #1 with #2, #3 with #4 and so
on. So there you are. I hope that if
you have only gotten to know one
person during this game, it's the
person you're with. And if you
haven't, you're about to. Now,
Melinda will be in charge of the
Amazing Race portion of this game.
But before I leave you again, I'd
like to share one small twist with
you. Look at your Amazing Race
partner and now exchange journals
with them. *evil laugh* So, that's a
small twist. You'll be given a
password for your new journal by
Melinda and you'll be able to see
everything written in that journal
previously. Hmmm... I look at this as
a way to get to know your teammate
better! GOOD LUCK ON THE RACE!
*Joseph parachutes off the balcony as
the players look perplexed....*
