Gate info site is information listing for Internet information access, research and general search information.

Objective

To provide an information gate to the Internet. To list information in a logical easy to access manor mainly by providing links to information resources on the Internet. In general commonly searched for subject areas.

Site structure

Sections:

Search Engine Listing. The search engine listing section is just that. A simple listing of search engines available on the Internet listed in alphabetical order.

Favourite Sites. This is a listing with brief explanations of the site author’s favourite sites.

The sites a chosen for their adeptness at web publishing, specific subject interests to the author, quality of content, and entertainment value.

Online News Papers.

One section listing is only of papers that are of interest to the author.

There is also a link section to other online newspaper resources.

Job Section. Listing of job-hunting resources available on the Internet. This is broken up into three sections Local, Canadian, Other or overall resources. This page also links back to newspapers on the Internet.

Entertainment. (Possible section) Free Internet radio stations, Music resource, and other multimedia sites.

Software Downloads. This section is separated into general resources such as software down load sites, proprietary company software sites, free software sites specifically chosen by the author, Linux rpm downloads.

Libraries Online. This will be a listing of libraries broken into sections such as full alphabetical listing, listing by region, University libraries.

Web . Subsections for this category will be web development information, tutorials for web development, resources for web developers, other web information such as the registration of domains, accessing the Internet in various countries.

Photo Section. Gallery of photo’s and links off to SMIL projects.
