Keep checking back! No firm dates yet on the next US city, but a fall release is likely. 6/6/2003 Outrider Pictures has launched it's own Chester Story website. Thanks to Jacqueline Anderson. 4/10/2003 The Chester Story had a successful two week run in Wilmington and will be opening in other cities soon. Sky Movies Max has added 14 new screenings of the film during April/May 03! The next US city will be announced soon... 2/28/2003 The Chester Story opens in Wilmington TODAY!! Press has started, with Lumina News being the first to cover Chester. Here is a jpg. Go to the Press page for more details. Screenings will take place exclusively at Carmike 16, Wilmington. Go to the SCREENINGS page for details. HBO Asia has also bought the film and will begin airing it March 11th! UK Sky Movies Max 1 will premiere the film March10th! 2/7/2003 A March Wilmington opening is looking likely. Meanwhile, Porchlight have kindly sent over the official International poster for the film. US poster now up too. You can view on the links below. Porchlight has premiered the A Touch Of Fate trailer online. Click here to view the page. Outrider Pictures have also said that they will know their distribution plan by the new year. Very exciting! 10/20/2002 Outrider & Porchlight have their prints of The Chester Story! Outrider will have distribution plans sorted by Dec 1st. Porchlight has added Chester to their website, with the new Intl. title for the film being 'A Touch Of Fate'. Trailer will be available soon! The title will remain The Chester Story for the US release. 9/7/2002 Chester's posters and trailers should be produced during October. We can also expect a distribution plan then. 7/21/2002 Velveteen Films are waiting on clearance for a piece of classical music. Thanks to the awesome group LEMONPEELER, we have two audio clips of both tracks featured in The Chester Story - Morning Jitters and Automatic. Both songs feature on their new EP available on the bands website. 6/29/2002 Both Porchlight Entertainment and Outrider Pictures will be making seperate trailers and posters for Chester. Details soon!! 6/1/2002 The distributors: Outrider Pictures will handle US distribution and Porchlight Entertainment will take on the international sales. 4/24/2002 Boston band Lemonpeeler will feature two songs on The Chester Story's soundtrack. These are 'Morning Jitters' and 'Automatic'. 4/8/2002 The Chester Story is likely to get a limited theatrical release, opening wider if the responce is good. Deals are being signed now... 4/4-5/2002 The score was recored by Kinny Landrum with a 15 piece orchestra at the steinway building on 57th st., NY. This is a very historic studio so the filmmakers are pleased to have the opportunity to have it recorded there! 3/25/2002 This site is now linked to IMDB, Independentfilm.com and all the major search engines. Dark Horizons also mentioned us recently. 3/17/2002 Velveteen Films are in talks with interested distributors. Back in post production, negatives are being cut, shots colored, work is being done on the opticals and dialogue is being re-recorded. 8/31/2001 - 2/25/2002 Post production is taking place.
